12.05.2026: Customs releases its annual report for 2025

Customs has released its annual report for 2025.

According to the report, the number of counterfeit goods seized increased by nearly 13.5 percent compared to the previous year, reaching 19,124, nearly matching the level seen in 2023. The volume of seized goods decreased to approximately 4.64 million, while the value of the goods, at nearly 446 million euros, reached its highest level in nearly 20 years.

As in recent years, most seizures occurred in postal traffic (55.62%), while the majority of counterfeits were seized in road traffic (43.33%). more

The United States Trade Representative has published the “2025 Review of Notorious Markets for Counterfeiting and Piracy.” The report lists physical markets, online platforms, and websites that were notable for intellectual property rights violations in the past year. more
